The Political Compass
This website I've linked to is a very interesting website that will explore more about what type of person you stand on political issues.
In modern society, we usually use the terms left or right (conservatives, or liberals) to describe political viewpoints of many groups of people. One of the problem with this classification is from its inadequatcy in portraying people of different viewpoints mainly on two major issues - social issues and economical issues.
The political compass address this by measuring our viewpoints on both this areas making our viewpoint more multi-facet and accurate than the typical left and right.
On a personal note, I got -4.41 on economical issues, but neutral on social issues with a score of -0.41.
